It became part of my life…

The number on the scale disappointed me, again and again, and I didn’t like what I saw in the mirror.  As a former athlete, I came to realize I needed to act, in order to change the picture I saw before me.

I had not been physically active for some time, as long hours at the office had become my priority.  I found myself fully dedicated to something that brought much stress to my world.  And this took a toll on my body.

I was steadily gaining weight, became easily winded, and my sleep patterns were irregular.  As a result, I was tired all the time, and my mood was generally poor.

I had been considering a Personal Trainer at a large fitness facility near my house, but had yet to come across the right fit.  I happened upon Galiya’s studio, following my wife’s suggestion.

Galiya’s approach appealed to me right away.  She took time to create a complete profile of my strengths and needs, and created workable goals; built from a thorough baseline.  And all this happened very quickly, which kept my momentum going.

I have been training with Galiya for over a year now.  I’ve found that my energy levels have skyrocketed, my cardio stamina has increased dramatically, and my overall fitness level has improved significantly.

A year ago, I could only do 4 push-ups from the floor.  Now I do 40 push-ups in a minute.  I have become so much stronger, and healthier – and my next goal is to create more definition in these new muscles.
