Meet the Coaches:
Coach Galiya Burgess (Fat Loss Coach & Personal Trainer)
I have always had a passion for healthy living. I have been involved in athletics all my life; from my 15 year dance / gymnastics career, my lifelong commitment to fitness, and more than 7 years in personal training. Ballet taught me to manage weight and stay athletic while strength training taught me injury rehabilitation and gymnastic reinforced my belief that exercise is a medicine.
I know what it is like living a busy life. My professional life in the oil and gas business and extensive international travel forced me to figure out how to balance family, work, kids and travel while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I can relate to your challenges fitting in a regular workout!
I have had my share of injuries from back, knee, shoulder to neck, which has given me an appreciation for safe training methods along with injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Through my professional background I know how to achieve goals – I’ll meet you where you are and take you where you want to be.
In line with my motto Work Smarter Not Harder!!, my sessions deliver safe, effective and fun workouts. I love seeing the transformation in my clients bodies and lives. Come train with me and be my next project – Together we can crush it!
Ramil Kamilov (Kickboxing Coach)
I have been training in Martial Arts since the age of 5, and completed the Level 1 Kickboxing Instructor certification with Fitness Kickboxing Canada, Coaching Certificate with University of Calgary, Personal Training Specialist with CanFitPro. I am an elite athlete and compete at a high level in Mixed Martial Arts, Muay Thai, Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Through preparing for competition I have learned to balance weight management while maximizing strength and performance.
My passion lies in both the mental and physical benefits derived from martial arts and translating this into fitness results for my clients. I run group and individual kickboxing classes – for children, teens and adults.
